About

Hi, I'm Annalisa.

I'm a Clinical Herbalist, Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®, National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Aromatherapist, and a doctoral student in  Integrative Health at ACHS.

I'm also a plant fanatic and a gardening freak!

When I moved to South Texas, I found a land blessed with rich soil, sunshine, lush woodlands... and, oh yeah, heat and humidity too (my poor hair!). I started gardening because I wanted fresh, organically grown vegetables and medicinal herbs for my family that would not cost us an arm and a leg.

After tasting our first backyard bounty, I was hooked! My first raised bed turned into 18 more, lots of containers, and endless dreams of turning the entire 3 acres of land into a food forest and medicinal garden... If I could only convince my hubby!

My garden is my sanctuary—a secret place of magic, fairytales, and wonder; a refuge from life's hectic pace; a source of natural healing and inspiration, a never-ending scientific experiment to feed my quest for knowledge.

Let me show you how to harness the fantastic powers of aromatic plants and their energetics; learn about ancient lore and traditional uses that are increasingly backed by scientific discoveries, gardening hacks to grow your supply, and nutrition advice to reclaim your health.

You CAN nurture your wellness with botanicals and whole foods like our grandmothers and ancestors did. Food is medicine, indeed.

Let's get started!

“Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble." - Albert Einstein
