About
Hi, I’m Annalisa—Clinical Herbalist, Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®, National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Aromatherapist, and current doctoral student in Integrative Health at the American College of Healthcare Sciences.
But more than that…
I’m a plant fanatic, a gardening devotee, and a wild dreamer with dirt under my nails and a passion for helping others reconnect with the healing wisdom of the natural world.
🌱 From Backyard Beds to Wild Woods
When we first moved to South Texas, I started with a small garden on our 3-acre homestead—just a few raised beds for growing fresh veggies and medicinal herbs for my family. That first harvest changed everything. One bed became 18, the containers multiplied, and my dreams started spilling out into every corner of the land.
But now… we’ve expanded!
We’ve moved to 75 acres of lush woodland bordering the national forest, and we’re in the process of building Wild Woods—an agroforestry homestead rooted in herbalism, ecological harmony, and self-sufficiency.
🌸 Why I Do This
My garden has always been my sanctuary—a place of fairytale wonder, quiet experimentation, ancient knowledge, and future healing. It’s where I blend traditional herbal wisdom with modern science, and it’s where Wild Woods was born.
Whether you’re here to explore the energetics of aromatic plants, the cultural and clinical uses of herbs, or nutrition strategies grounded in ancestral practices and evidence-based care, I’m here to walk with you.
Let me show you how to:
-
Harness the healing power of plants
-
Grow your own medicine and food
-
Reclaim your well-being, naturally and intentionally
Because yes, food is medicine. And yes, you can nurture your wellness—just like our grandmothers and ancestors did—with wisdom, knowledge, and roots in the soil.
✨ Ready to begin?
Let’s grow something beautiful—together in Wild Woods.
“Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the Universe-a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble." - Albert Einstein
